Canada · our main market

Shopify help built for Canadian small businesses.

Most Shopify help is written for American stores, which is why so many Canadian ones end up with their shipping priced as though the country were one zone and their product data too thin for Google to classify. We work Eastern Time, invoice in CAD if you want, and know what a store in Saskatchewan has to do differently from one in Ontario.

What is actually different here

Three things Canadian stores get wrong.

Product data nobody has filled in. The fields that let Google classify a product, and qualify it for the free Shopping listings, are dull and mostly empty in Canadian small-store catalogues: brand, category, a valid identifier. A store with good products and empty fields is invisible in the one place where people are already searching with their wallets out.

Shipping priced as though Canada were one zone. Free shipping across Canada sounds generous until a handful of remote-area deliveries absorb a month of margin. The gap between a Toronto delivery and a northern one is far larger than most store owners assume when they set a threshold.

Quebec treated as an afterthought. Selling to Quebec consumers means French, properly. Translating the theme and leaving three hundred product descriptions in English is the usual half-measure, and it costs sales in the province where you have the least competition from national English-first brands.

How the work happens. We work Eastern Time hours, which overlaps the whole Canadian and US business day. Everything is done inside your own Shopify admin through collaborator access, so you can see each change as it lands.

Prices in USD. CAD invoicing is available on request.

Questions

Working with a remote provider from Canada.

Do you actually work with Canadian businesses, or just accept them?

Canada is our main market and the reason this section exists. We work Eastern Time hours, which covers the whole Canadian business day, we can invoice in CAD, and we know the parts of running a Canadian store that a US-based provider tends not to: what shipping actually costs across a country this size, and what a genuinely bilingual catalogue takes in Quebec.

How does working with you actually work?

Everything happens inside your own Shopify admin, through collaborator access that you grant and can revoke yourself. Shopify logs every action independently of us, so you can always see what was done, and you get a short plain-English note each month. We work Eastern Time hours, so our working day matches yours.

Why do you have a page per province?

Because what holds a store back is genuinely different by market. An Ontario parts catalogue has a product-data problem. A BC brand has beautiful photography and empty product fields. An Alberta buyer searches an exact part number. A Quebec store needs both languages kept accurate. Those are different jobs, so they get different pages rather than one page with the place name swapped.

Can you bill in Canadian dollars?

Yes. Prices are listed in USD and we can invoice in CAD. Tell us when you start and that is how it will be billed.

Selling into the US as well? Read the US page.
