Every option, including the ones cheaper than us.
There are six sensible ways to get a Shopify store looked after and we are only one of them. Each page below leads with the situation where the alternative genuinely wins, because you are going to work that out anyway and it is faster if we say it first.
Hiring in-house
Hiring an ecommerce coordinator costs roughly $58,000 to $88,000 a year all-in once employer overhead is counted, plus recruiting. We cost $249 to $1,499 a month. Hiring wins when ecommerce is a big enough share of revenue to fill a full-time role; we win when it needs a few hours a week done properly.

Full-service Shopify agencies typically start around $2,500 a month and go well beyond it, and they sell strategy, creative and campaigns. We start at $249 and sell maintenance and execution. If you need someone to decide what to do, hire an agency. If you know what needs doing and need it done, that is us.
Read the comparison →A freelancer
A good Shopify freelancer costs $50 to $120 an hour and is excellent for defined one-off jobs. The failure mode is continuity: the good ones get busy and become unreachable, usually at the worst moment. We cost $249 to $1,499 a month and exist to be there in month eighteen.

Marketplaces are unbeatable on price for small, verifiable, self-contained tasks, often $10 to $40 an hour. They are a poor fit for anything you cannot check yourself, anything ongoing, and anything touching checkout, payments or customer data. Use them deliberately for the first category and not at all for the rest.
Read the comparison →Doing it yourself
Doing it yourself costs nothing in cash and is the correct answer for many very small stores. It stops being correct when the work never actually happens, or when not knowing what to look for means problems stay invisible. The test is not whether you could, it is whether you have.

If you only read one thing.
Very small store, some interest in it, work actually getting done? Do it yourself. Take the free check, fix the list, keep your money.
One specific job with a clear end? A freelancer, or buy an hour from us. Do not start a subscription to solve one problem.
Bulk work you can check at a glance? A marketplace. The pricing is unarguable and the risk is low when the output is visible.
Nobody owns the store and it keeps drifting? That is us, and it is the only situation where we are clearly the best answer.
Need someone to decide what to do, not just do it? An agency or a strategist. We execute; we do not set direction.
Ecommerce is becoming the main business? Hire. Rented knowledge is the wrong shape once the channel is central.

Still not sure? The free check decides it for you.
Send us your store address. The written list tells you how much is actually wrong, which is the information you need to pick between everything on this page, including deciding that none of it is worth paying for yet.
