Pricing

What it costs, before you have to talk to anyone.

Every number is on this page. Plans start at $249 a month, there is a one-off option with no subscription at all, and you can just buy an hour if that is genuinely all you need. Nothing to pay upfront, no contract, cancel whenever.

  • Prices in USD. CAD invoicing is available on request.

No commitment

Store Rescue

If the store has been left alone for a year and you just want it sorted

$499

one time, no subscription

One fixed fee. One week. Store fixed.

You are not looking for a monthly relationship. You want the mess cleaned up once, by someone who knows Shopify, for a price you agree before we start. That is this.

Nothing recurring. If you never speak to us again, the store still works.

  • Full store check, written up in plain English
  • We fix the top issues ourselves, not just report them
  • Broken links, stale prices and missing product info sorted
  • Store made presentable on Google and on phones
  • A short handover note so you know what was done
  • Fixed price agreed up front. No hourly surprises.

Store Care

If nobody owns the store and it slowly rots between busy seasons

$249

per month

Someone finally has an eye on it.

The cheapest useful thing we do. Every month we check the store over, fix what is small and broken, and tell you in one paragraph what we found. It stops the slow decay that costs you orders without you noticing.

  • Monthly store health check, done by a person
  • Up to two hours of fixes included each month
  • Broken links, errors and stale content caught early
  • Your existing emails kept running
  • One short plain-English note a month
  • Extra work at your plan rate, only if you ask

Lite

If a hire isn't worth it yet, but the store still has to look the part

$499

per month

Your store shouldn't embarrass the brand.

No time or know-how to keep the store current? You shouldn't need it. We quietly keep it tidy, accurate and on Google. You just check it, and it's right.

  • Product pages kept tidy, accurate and on Google
  • Stale prices and broken details fixed before customers notice
  • Your existing emails and texts kept running
  • A full store check-up every few months
  • A short, plain-English note each month
  • Sales and changes on request, at your plan rate

Operate

If a lean team is keeping it alive but never gets to grow it

$1,499

per month

A second team, for less than half a hire.

Your one or two people are maxed out. We carry the running, sales, catalogue, the flows that bring customers back, so the channel grows instead of just surviving, for less than the headcount you'd otherwise hire.

  • Weekly sales and offers, set up and run
  • Full catalogue, live on Google Shopping
  • 50+ automated emails and texts, run for you
  • 5 hrs of hands-on dev a month (bigger builds quoted)
  • Monthly check-ups, with the fixes done
  • Weekly catch-up and shared chat with your team

Technical Team

If your marketing team is great, but blocked on dev

$1,500

from, scaled to the hours you need

Your marketing. Our engineering.

You own the strategy and brand, we don't touch either. We're the Shopify development team your marketers hand the hard execution to, scaled up or down as the work demands.

Already have a marketing team? We become the technical half.

  • On-tap Shopify dev and ops team
  • Catalogue ops at scale: metafields, bulk products, ERP
  • Full-stack Shopify: themes, custom apps and APIs
  • Integrations for stock, warehouse and accounting
  • Dedicated lead and named team, with response times agreed in writing
  • Your team stays in charge. We execute, not redirect.

These prices fit the typical store we take on. Every store is different, so the final quote follows the actual scope — a big or tangled catalogue can come in higher, a simple store lower. If you are not sure where you land, just ask: a quote is free and does not commit you to anything.

Honest comparison

What the alternatives actually cost.

Including the ones that beat us. If your real answer is a part-time student or your own Saturday morning, that is a legitimate answer and this table should help you reach it faster.

Approximate annual cost of having someone look after a small Shopify store
OptionRoughly what it costsWhen it is the right call
Doing it yourself$0 in cashYou have the time and some appetite for it. Genuinely the correct answer for many very small stores. The cost is your attention, and the risk is that it keeps getting postponed.
A student or part-timer$1,000–2,500 / moYou have enough volume to keep them busy and enough knowledge to direct them. They will not know Shopify well, so you supply the judgement.
A freelancer, hourly$25120 / hrYou have a defined, one-off job. Quality varies enormously at the low end, and continuity is the usual failure: the good ones get busy and disappear.
Hiring in-house$58,56087,840 / yrEcommerce is a large enough share of your revenue to fill a role. Figure includes about 22% employer overhead, and excludes recruiting.
A full-service agency$2,5008,000 / moYou need strategy, creative and paid media as well as execution, and you have the budget to be a meaningful client rather than their smallest one.
E-Store Manager$249–1,499 / mo · scaled team from $1,500The store needs maintaining rather than reinventing, and nobody in the business has time to own it. We are the wrong choice if you need strategy and brand work.

Market figures are conservative mid-range estimates for Canada and the US, not quotes, and they move with region and seniority. Use the cost calculator to run your own numbers, and check current local salary data before making a hiring decision.

How we work

What you are actually committing to.

Not promises. Six things about how this works that you can check for yourself, including the two that cost us money.

You never share a password

Access is granted through Shopify's own collaborator system. You choose the permissions, Shopify logs every action independently of us, and you can revoke access yourself at any time without asking.

No contract, no notice period

Every plan is month to month with nothing to pay upfront. There is no minimum term to argue your way out of, which is the point: we have to be worth paying again each month.

Every price is published

No discovery call needed to find out what we charge. Plans, hourly rates and the one-off option are all on the pricing page, so you can rule us out without speaking to anyone.

No commission on anything we recommend

No affiliate fee, referral cut or revenue share from any app, theme or tool we suggest. If we recommend something, we earn the same whether you use it or not.

A person replies within one business day

You talk to whoever is doing the work, not an account manager relaying messages. We do not monitor overnight, and we would rather say that than imply cover we do not provide.

We tell you when not to hire us

If your problem is demand rather than execution, or the store is small enough to maintain yourself, that is what the free check will say. It costs us work and saves you money.

Questions about money

The things people want to know before they ask.

How much does it cost to have someone manage a Shopify store?

Our packaged plans run from $249 a month for a monthly check plus two hours of fixes to $1,499 a month for a full operational team, and a scaled technical team starts at $1,500 a month. A one-off cleanup of a neglected store is a fixed $499 with nothing recurring. The exact quote follows the scope of your store, and can land higher or lower than the listed figure. Across the wider market, expect roughly $25 to $120 an hour from freelancers, and a floor of about $2,500 a month at a full-service agency, which is why small stores usually end up with nobody at all.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

No. Every plan is month to month, there is nothing to pay upfront, and you can pause, switch or stop whenever you like. We do ask for about two weeks to set a plan up properly, because the first pass through a neglected store is the slow one.

Can I pay in Canadian dollars?

Prices on this page are in USD, and we can invoice in CAD if you would rather. Say so when you start and that is how it will be billed.

What if I only need one thing fixed?

Buy an hour. One-off work is $100 an hour with no commitment, charged in half-hours, and there is no plan attached to it. If you have a list rather than one item, a ten-hour block drops it to $90 an hour and a twenty-hour block to $80.

Why is Store Care so much cheaper than the other plans?

Because it buys less, on purpose. Store Care is maintenance: somebody checks the store monthly and fixes what is small and broken, with two hours of work included. It does not include running promotions, building out the catalogue, or managing email campaigns. It exists so that a store doing a few thousand a month has something it can actually afford instead of nothing.

What happens if I need more work than my plan includes?

You are told first, with an estimate, and it only goes ahead if you agree. Extra work on a plan is $75 an hour, our lowest rate. Nothing is ever added to an invoice without you seeing it coming.

Are these prices fixed, or does it depend on my store?

They are honest anchors, not blind quotes. A plan price assumes the typical store that plan was built for; a 2,000-product catalogue with years of neglect is more work than a 40-product store, and the quote will say so — in both directions, because a simpler store sometimes needs less than the plan it picked. You always get the number in writing before anything starts, and asking costs nothing.

Do you take a percentage of sales?

No. We charge a flat fee and take no share of revenue, no commission and no affiliate cut from any app we recommend. If we suggest a tool, it is because it is the right tool, and we earn nothing either way.
