Shopify help for small US stores.

Same work, all priced in USD. We keep the store accurate and findable, fix what breaks, and keep the follow-up running, for businesses with nobody inside them whose job the store is. No contract, cancel anytime.

The thing small US sellers leave on the table

You are probably not in the free Google listings.

Google shows product listings for free, to nearly every store, and almost no small store we open is actually eligible for them. Not because of competition or budget, but because the listings are gated behind boring product data: a brand field, a product category, a valid identifier, a condition. Empty fields, no listings.

That is the most frustrating kind of problem to have, and the best kind to fix. There is no auction to win and nothing to outspend. It is a few hundred product records getting the fields they should have had, a Merchant Center feed connected properly, and then the disapprovals worked through until the catalogue is clean.

The reason it matters more than most things on a small store's list is who it puts you in front of. Someone searching a product name on Google has already decided what they want. That is the warmest traffic available anywhere, and for most of these stores it is currently going to a competitor who filled in a spreadsheet.

We would do this before touching design, before writing a word of new marketing copy, and certainly before spending anything on ads. Paying for clicks to a store that cannot earn the free ones is the wrong order.

We stay in the store. Accounting, legal and your ad budget belong with people who do those for a living, and we refer them out rather than guessing. What we take on.

Canada is our main market. Worth knowing before you hire us. It changes nothing about the work and it means our hours are Eastern. See the Canada page.

Questions

What US store owners ask.

What is the fastest win for a small US store?

Almost always the free Google Shopping listings, because they are gated behind boring product data rather than competition or budget. Brand, category and a valid identifier on every product, a healthy Merchant Center feed, and the disapprovals cleared. It puts your products in front of people who are already searching with their wallets out, and it costs nothing per click.

What do you not do?

Anything that needs a different professional. Accounting and bookkeeping, legal and trademark work, and managing your ad budget are all outside what we take on, and we would rather refer them out than guess. On the store itself we also will not pass off machine-translated product copy as finished, or recommend an app we earn anything from.

What hours do you work?

Eastern Time, which covers the US business day from the East Coast through to mid-afternoon Pacific. Everything happens inside your own Shopify admin through collaborator access you grant and can revoke, so you can see the work as it lands. A real person replies within one business day.

Is the US your main market?

No, Canada is, and it is fair to know that before hiring us. In practice it makes no difference to the work: the store operations, catalogue, findability and email work are identical. It means our Canada-specific knowledge is deeper, and that our hours are Eastern rather than Pacific.

What do you charge, and in what currency?

Monthly plans, or a one-off fixed fee to clean up a neglected store with nothing recurring afterwards. All prices are in USD, so for a US business there is no conversion to think about. Everything is listed on the pricing page.

There are no individual state pages here on purpose. Selling from one state is not meaningfully different from another once tax is handled, and we would rather have one honest page than fifty near-identical ones.
